Apple Jack 2, one of my most-anticipated indie games this year, finally has a trailer. It’s looking great so far, with some really varied level designs and awesome new gameplay elements. Check out the trailer below and get as excited as I am!

Ghostbusters items for your Xbox360 avatar are now available on the Xbox Marketplace, as a tie-in to Ghostbusters: Sanctum Of Slime. There’s a jumpsuit/proton pack combo, a hat, and Stay Puff or Slimer avatar “pets.”
I’ve been wanting to see an avatar proton pack ever since Ghostbusters: The Video Game came out a few years ago, so I’m very happy about this. Though my excitement was muted somewhat when I discovered that if I want to dress my own avatar in a jumpsuit/proton pack combo…”it’s piiiiiiiiiink.” Suddenly what was otherwise an instabuy for me turned into a “ehh, maybe…” At least give us female gamers the option of black, Atari.

A group of staff members let go in Activision’s closing of Bizarre Creations have formed a new studio together called Lucid Games! The press release can be found here.
Blur was not only my favorite racing game of the year, not only my favorite racing game of this generation of consoles…it was possibly my favorite racing game of all time, warts and all. I’d been so hoping that there would be a sequel that would be even better, by ironing out the few problems with the game, but alas…’twas not to be.
Another survival horror game? Normally my reaction would be “sigh,” followed by general indifference. But this trailer was so well done, the game is definitely going to be on my radar now. Take a look…you might even end up watching it twice.
A first post to break in the new blog, and mark the date it was finally finished.
